ABOUT CHICKEN & BLUES
It is a pleasure to work with Josh, Steve and the team at Chicken & Blues although its not good for the waistline as their award winning chicken is hard to resist. We love their entrepreneurial spirit and are always ready to support them with their next adventure.
THE PROBLEM
Chicken & Blues initially enlisted the services of Streetwise HR back in 2015 but after a year, decided they weren’t ready for their full support and agreed to take HR activities in house. However, just a year later they approached Streetwise HR once again and asked them to come back on board to help take the business in a whole new direction.
THE SOLUTION
As part of Chicken & Blues' HR services, the Streetwise team produced employee contracts and a handbook to ensure all staff were on the same page and working with the same values and goals. As well as its composition, this also includes continually updating and managing the contracts and handbook to ensure the content and messaging remains relevant and accurate to the overall direction of the business.
The Streetwise team is always working closely with the managers and business consultant at Chicken & Blues to streamline their processes and become a more efficient and productive company. This has involved helping them switch to the cloud-based G-Drive for better collaboration and communication between all their teams.
As part of the bespoke HR services, the team works with, supports and advises managers in a range of HR related issues that crop up from week to week. This can include helping new starters settle in, advice on how to deal with sensitive situations and even ideas for boosting workplace morale. Indeed, Streetwise HR is proud to say that Chicken & Blues consider them to be a part of the team and know that no matter what employee relation situation may arise, the team is there to help.
